Property Insurance

Shikhar Insurance's Property Insurance provides protection for buildings, offices and contents (stationery, furniture, equipment etc.) against accidental fire, lightning, earthquake, explosion, storm, flood, landslide and similar perils. On payment of additional premium the policy can be extended for riot & strike, malicious damage and terrorism.

• Optional extension for riot, strike, malicious damage and terrorism with additional premium
• Architect/Engineer/Surveyor fees up to 3% of assessed loss (within Sum Insured)
• Debris removal up to 10% of assessed loss or NPR 1,000,000, whichever is less
• Personal accident cover for up to 5 persons inside residential building
• Deductibles: Earthquake 5%, Water-based 5%, Other damage 1%
• Losses below NPR 5,000 are not claimable

• Optional RSMDST (Riot/Strike/Malicious Damage/Terrorism) extension
• Architect fees and debris removal covered
• Deductible: EQ 5% / Water 5% / Other 1%
